RIP

There comes a time in our lives that one must learn how to let go. It's never easy, but it is necessary to move on. This is very hard for me, dear Zara ballet flats, but you have to go. You served me well these last five years. You were a bit hard to break in, but turned out to be my most comfortable flats. You were light enough for summer, but warm and cosy in winter. I've walked miles in you and you never betrayed me with blisters. Your rotten apple colour made you so versatile, you were my standard go-to when in doubt. Now you are just plain rotten. RIP.
